Exploratory Papers: (Extended Abstract 1000 words max; Paper maximum length: 6 pages)

Exploratory papers should present ideas that could benefit from discussion with members of the IS community. These papers may include work-in-progress, experiences of reflective practitioners, and first drafts of novel concepts and approaches. Exploratory papers are for work that could benefit from a discussion with the larger IS community. The focus areas for exploratory papers include but are not limited to:
- Research works in progress: research which is not yet ready for a peer reviewed evaluation. Exploratory papers could cover research designs, fieldwork, and/or preliminary research results.
-Stories about experiences by reflective practitioners: we are especially interested in exploratory papers in which practitioners describe their practical experiences in working across organizational, cultural and expertise boundaries, and delivering results outside the boundaries of the designed artefact.
- Tools and techniques reports: the description of tools and techniques, and of the application of these tools and techniques, showing their usefulness IS design.
