CONFERENCE ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS AND SUBMISSION

The Conference accepts abstracts, posters and demonstrations. The submission must be done through the EASY CHAIR conference management system using the following link: Proceed to Paper / Abstract Submission

For each work submitted to the Conference you have to specify under which conference topic the work is presented: Research, Education, Market & Careers.

ABSTRACTS:

(Extended) Abstracts must be presented in English. Length should not exceed a maximum of 4000 characters.
Abstract must include:

  1. Abstract Title
  2. Names of author(s) and titles
  3. Name of the educational institution, represented by the author(s)
  4. City and country
  5. Type of presentation (Oral presentation, Poster, Demonstration)
  6. Complete contact details of at least one of the authors
  7. Only for demonstration: technical requirements in case of acceptance (e.g. table and number of chairs, electric power, network connection, wide screen, LCD projector, flipboard, …)
  8. Criteria of evaluation:
    Abstracts will be reviewed based on the following criteria: relevance for the call for papers, novelty and originality, significance, soundness of results, potential for impact, clarity of presentation.

POSTERS

Posters will be selected based on the same criteria as abstracts.
The maximum size for each poster is A0: 841 mm (width) x 1189 mm (height) (33.11 inches x 46.82 inches). Posters should be clearly visible from a distance of two metres, thus requiring a good quality.

Authors interested in submitting a final version of the paper have a deadline for November 29, 2013. Authors need to use EasyChair also for submitting the full paper. Selected papers will be published in an online proceeding with a dedicated ISBN.
The other papers will be included in a working note for the Conference.
A selected number of papers will also be selected for a post-proceeding publication with a referred magazine.

DEMONSTRATIONS

Demonstrations refer to practical applications or solutions in sport innovation. Demonstrations can be the result of product/services developed by industry/start ups or the result of academic applied research projects.
