Antonella Motta and David Kaplan have been selected to chair the 2021 Gordon Conference-sponsored meeting Silk proteins and the transition to biotechnologies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Conference was initially scheduled to be held in New England (USA) on 15-21 August 2021 but due to the travel limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been moved to Summer 2023. Further updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.

The 2019 Trento Innovation Conferences on Materials Engineering (TICME) partnered with the International Silk Conference Series to organize Frontiers in Silk Sciences and Technologies, an event devoted to the research of Silk-based materials that brought together over 80 experts in the field of silk science and industry from all around the world, in order to overcome the current challenges in the Silk field.
