At the end of the first year, in October, students have to illustrate their research in front of the Doctoral School Committee.
They have 10 minutes for the presentation (with slides); during this presentation students have to underline the aims and objectives of the research, the status quo, the scientific value and the expected impact of the results.
They also have to hand in:
- the project proposal written on the School form, duly signed by the proposer and the internal supervisor;
- the Portfolio (with the "Medaglione" describing the educational and research activity carried out during the first year of the programme).
