Final exams

In order to be admitted to the second and third year, and to the thesis defense, students must write reports and discuss the topics of their research.

First year

PhD students must pass the exams of each of the three courses they attended. The examination committee involves the lecturers of the three courses, the thesis advisor and either the PhD coordinator or a member of the Executive Committee. The examination committee evaluates the students' activities and then formulates a written report.

Second year

In order to be admitted to the third year, by the end of the second year, PhD students must prepare a report related to their research activity.

Third year

In order to discuss their final thesis, Doctoral students have to apply for admittance to the final examination using the ONLINE SYSTEM.

Final examination enrolment or deadline extension

To be admitted to the final examination, Doctoral students must report the scientific results of their research to the Doctoral School Committee. On the basis of this report, and of the supervisor's assessment, the Doctoral School Committee will admit the Doctoral student to the final examination.
