The School Director is prof. Gian-Franco Dalla Betta full professor of Electronics.

He coordinates the School activities; organizes teaching programmes and calls and chairs the meetings of the School Council, organizing the agenda and implementing the decisions taken by the Council; calls and chairs meetings of the Graduate School Executive Committee.

The Director is in charge of students’ research activities at associated universities and other parties involved in the PhD activities, authorizing mobility periods shorter than six months.

He early reports to the Evaluation Committee of the University of Trento, at the end of each academic year; the report highlights how qualification’s requirements for the Doctorate School are accomplished and maintained; it also addresses how a continuous evaluation and overall monitoring of the School’s and of PhD student quality can be achieved.

The School Deputy-Director is prof. Sandra Dirè , associate professor of Chemistry.
