Benedikt Erforth received his PhD in International Studies in May 2015. His thesis investigates decision-making processes during crisis situations. Empirically, his thesis focuses on French foreign and security policy towards sub-Saharan Africa. During his studies, Benedikt was visiting researcher at CERI / SciencesPo Paris. His main research interests include international security, foreign policy analysis, French foreign policy, transatlantic relations, and constructivist and psychological approaches to IR.
Benedikt now works as contractual lecturer at SciencesPo and the SciencesPo transatlantic campus in Reims, where he teaches courses in IR, Political Science, and Comparative Constitutional Law.
