Isabella Oldani is a PhD student at the School of International Studies, University of Trento, Italy. Her research mainly focuses on the delicate balance between international security and the protection of fundamental rights. Previously, she interned at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations in Vienna and did her traineeship at an international law firm in Milan. She holds a combined BA/MA in Law from the University of Trento. During her studies, she spent an academic year at the Law School of the University of Reading (UK) and conducted research for two months in Brussels. She is proficient in English and has a good command of French.
