Amandine Le Bellec is a PhD student at the School of International Studies, University of Trento, Italy. She is interested in analyzing the right to asylum for sexual minorities at the European level. She holds an MA in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris, where she specialized in migration studies and published on environmental migration. She also has a BA in social sciences from Sciences Po, during which she participated in a one-year exchange program in gender studies at the University of Sydney. Since 2016, she has served as a board member in several human rights associations.
