Micaela Musacchio Strigone is a PhD Student at the School of International Studies, University of Trento, Italy. Her doctoral research project aims to investigate how extreme-right social movements influence the institutional politics of radical-right parties in Western Europe, at both the domestic and EU levels. Her research interests include populism, political violence, and terrorism. She holds an MA in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Siena, Italy, and an MA in Terrorism, Security and Society from King’s College London. She is an Italian native speaker, is proficient in English and has a basic command of French.
