Silvia PEIROLO

Silvia Peirolo is a PhD student at the School of International Studies, University of Trento. Her research investigates the impact of the European Union’s interventions on border management and policing in the Sahel. Her work mostly focuses on state-society relations and related dynamics of security within fragile states. She has worked as a consultant at UNICEF Office of Research (Florence), as a trainee in the United Nations (New York) and in an NGO (Freetown). She received her MSc from Wageningen University and her B.A. from the University of Turin and Sciences Po Bordeaux.
