Raffaele VENTURA
Raffaele Ventura is a PhD student in International Studies at the University of Trento. His research interests focus on international security, territorial conflicts and competition over natural resources. The regional focus of his studies is on the Mediterranean and the Subsaharan Africa. He holds an MA in International Relations and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Bologna, and an MA in Sustainable Development, Geopolitics of Natural Resources and Arctic Studies from the Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale (SIOI). He has previously worked as a trainee for the Italian Embassy in South Africa, and has cofounded zeroCO2, a start-up and benefit corporation dealing with climate change and sustainable development in Europe and Latin America.
