Munqeth OTHMAN AGHA

Munqeth OTHMAN AGHA is a PhD student at the School of International Studies, University of Trento. His research focuses on scrutinizing the impact of urban environment and state urban policies on divided cities during civil conflicts. He holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Sussex (UK) as a Chevening scholar and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Clermont-Auvergne (France). He worked as an Analyst at COAR Global and as a researcher at the Syrian Memory Institute. His research interests include civil conflicts in urban areas, local governance, post-conflict reconstruction, and humanitarian and development aid, with a primary focus on the Syrian conflict.
