Francesca ZAMBELLI
Francesca ZAMBELLI is a PhD Student at the School of International Studies (SIS), University of Trento, Italy. Her research interests include EU foreign policy issues, crisis management, conflict prevention and resolution and issues of regional security in the former Soviet area with a particular focus on the South Caucasus. Her doctoral research project investigates the impact of the European Union’s support to Security Sector Reform (SSR) in Ukraine and in Georgia.
She is an alumna of the SIS, where she completed the "Master’s Degree in European and International Studies". She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. During her graduate studies, she was an exchange student at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Saint Petersburg.
She worked as a trainee for the Conflict Prevention Centre of the OSCE (Vienna) and for non-governmental organisations in Georgia and in Peru.
