Sara Lamberti

Sara Lamberti Moneta is a PhD fellow at the School of International Studies, University of Trento. He has worked under the supervision of Prof. Mark F. Gilbert on a project on European Identity and human rights during the 70s. She will defend her dissertation “Helsinki disentangled (1973-75): West Germany, the Netherlands, the EPC and the principle of the protection of human rights” by early 2012.

As a PhD fellow she has participated in several conferences at international levels. She has so far presented the results of her archival research on West and East Germany in international Conferences in Italy, France, United States.

Sara Lamberti Moneta holds a degree in Law (University of Pisa) and in History of International Relations (University of Roma 3). She has taken a Master Diploma in International Politics and in Macro and Micro economics.

She has been a manager at the Department for Multilateral Political Affairs and Human Rights, by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and attachée by the Italian Permanent Mission by the United Nations in Vienna. She currently works as Conference Officer for the Meeting Assistance Unit at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna.

She is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch and has a fair knowledge of Russian.
