Elena Sciandra

Elena Sciandra is a PhD student in International Studies at the University of Trento, Italy. Her research interests include global criminology, black markets, and criminal justice responses to transnational crimes. She previously interned with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Tehran, Iran, and Vienna, Austria. She has an MSc in Criminal Justice Policy (London School of Economics), an MA in International Relations (University of Genoa, Italy), and a diploma in Criminology (Birkbeck College, University of London). She speaks Italian and English, and has a working knowledge of German.
