Isabella Oldani
Isabella Oldani obtained her PhD from the School of International Studies of the University of Trento in July 2020 defending a thesis entitled “Exchanging and Protecting Personal Data across Borders: GDPR Restrictions on International Data Transfer”. Her dissertation focuses on data protection issues in relation to data transfer from the EU to third countries. During her PhD, she has been a visiting researcher at the Queen Mary University of London where she worked alongside the Cloud Legal Project, a Microsoft-funded project which undertakes research in several areas of law and technology. She is currently working as a data protection lawyer in Milan where she advises both national and international clients on various data protection matters.
