Dr. Anita Lavorgna is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna. She teaches Sociology, Social Change, and Cybercrime. After earning her PhD from the University of Trento, Anita spent most of her academic career in the UK, where she was an Associate Professor of Criminology at the University of Southampton until 2022. Her research mainly focuses on cybercrimes and digital social harms and is primarily based on interdisciplinary approaches.
