Project-specific scholarships - 38th cycle
Scholarship sponsored by Eurac Research - Big and geospatial data for assessing the energy sustainability of systems and territories
The research will, in general, contribute to a systematic study of energy sustainability profiles, over the long and medium term, with respect to the various players in the economic system: government, households, businesses. In particular, it will investigate existing data sources relevant to sustainable energy transition (big data and geospatial data), their availability, consistency and accessibility. It will produce a reasoned assessment of the potential uses of these single or aggregated data sources for spatial planning, monitoring and evaluation of sustainable energy transition actions and energy sustainability profiles. It will propose a system for measuring the value, including the socio-economic value, of these data.
The Doctoral student awarded the scholarships financed by Eurac Research is obliged to maintain confidentiality and to transfer the ownership of the results by signing a Declaration of Commitment. This will be signed before the beginning of the academic year.
