Since 2014 the University of Trento has been hosting a Falling Walls Lab.
Falling Walls Lab is an international forum for young talents who get the opportunity to present, in 3 minutes each, their groundbraking idea, relevant for the world of today, with a distinguished jury from academia and business.
All disciplines are welcome: from agriculture, medicine, natural sciences, economics and philosophy to the liberal arts.
The winners of the international Falling Walls Labs organised in different vibrant entities around the world, qualify directly for the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November and get a ticket for the international Falling Walls Conference on 9 November.
The Falling Walls Conference, organized by the Falling Walls Foundation, takes place each year on 9 November, the day of the fall of the Berlin Wall; at the conference, 20 top-class scientists, from around the world, present their current breakthrough research in 15 minutes answering the question: “Which are the next walls to fall?”.
