The University of Trento announces a public selection procedure for admission to the 39th cycle (academic year 2023/2024) of the PhD Programme in Sociology and Social Research (offered by the Doctoral School of Social Sciences).

The amendment only applies to the PhD Programme in Sustainability: Economics, Environment, Management and Society (SUSTEEMS) and adds the following details: MUR identification code and Unique Project Code in relation to the scholarship offered by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) - Istituto di Ricerca sulla Crescita Economica Sostenibile (IRCrES), on the following topic “Science, technology and innovation for sustainable development”.

How to apply

Application online: available starting from May 18, 2023.

Application’s deadline to participate in the selection: June 20, 2023, 16:00 (Italian time).

Candidates are warmly recommended to submit their application in advance. The University shall not be considered responsible for any dysfunctions due to technical problems and/or overload of the communication line and/or of the OS, for the loss of communication due to incorrect address details or late communication about possible change of address of the candidates, or for any other problem and delay due to third parties, unexpected cases or circumstances beyond one’s control.

Assessment schedule: between June 27 and July 7, 2023
Results will be available after the Commission's work is completed.

Multiple choice test: July 10, 2023 at 10.00 a.m. Guidelines for the written test are available in this section.

Oral examination: July 13 starting from 9.00 a.m. and July 14, 2023 starting from 09.00 a.m.

For those who chose to participate in attendance, exams will be held at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Trento (via Verdi 26, Trento).
