2016 Ranking: UniTrento ranked number 1

The CENSIS ranking 2016-2017, compiled for the Grande Guida published by la Repubblica, ranked the University of Trento in top position, again, with a final score of 99.8 points as in the 2015-2016 ranking. UniTrento ranked first in the general ranking and lead the ranking of medium-sized universities (those with 10,000 to 20,000 students).

The score is the mean average of the scores awarded for several parameters, such as scholarships and student aids, facilities, communication and digital services, internationalisation, on a scale between 66 and 110.

The scores obtained for "communication and digital services" (108), "facilities" (103) and "scholarships and student aids" (102) were key for the final result.

UniTrento only has one degree course of the five included in the disciplinary area of Geology-Biology, that is Biomolecular science and technologies at CIBIO - the Centre for Integrative Biology. Universities must offer courses in at least the 50% of the degree courses included in each disciplinary area for courses to be evaluated, that is why the CIBIO course has not been evaluated.
