From December 2024, all women working or studying at the University of Trento as students, researchers, faculty, technical and administrative staff, will be able to use the services of Centro antiviolenza (the Anti-violence centre) in Trento, via Dogana 1, near the train station.
This was made possible by the recent agreement between our University and Associazione Coordinamento Donne onlus, and is part of the equity and diversity policies promoted by UniTrento to prevent and combat violence against women.
The Anti-violence centre provides a safe place and support to women experiencing physical, psychological, economic violence and abuse, to the victims of stalking, cyberstalking and revenge porn. Two trained counsellors of the Centre will provide information and advice to escape violence, in the family, in social life or within university facilities.
The service is a pilot programme that will run for six months twice a month, from 17:00 to 19:00 at the headquarters of the Centre.
Access is free and the opening times are as follows:
- 2 and 16 December 2024
- 13 and 27 January 2025
- 3 and 17 February 2025
- 3 and 17 March 2025
- 7 and 28 April 2025
- 5 and 19 May 2025
We remind you that the Anti-violence centre is the point of contact in the Province of Trento for the anti-violence and stalking number: 1522. The service is active at any time, day or night, all year round.
