The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution may carry out within Erasmus+.
The award of an ECHE is a pre-requisite for all higher education institutions located in a programme country and willing to participate in learning mobility of individuals and/or cooperation for innovation and good practices under Erasmus+.
Universities apply for the award of the ECHE, commit to Erasmus+ principles and share their internationalization strategy in the Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS).
UniTrento was awarded the Charter 29348-LA-1-2014-1-IT-E4AKA1-ECHE for the 2014-2020 term to participate in the programme and apply for funding at the Agenzia Nazionale Erasmus+ Indire for decentralised activities and the European Commission for centralised ones.
In February 2021 UniTrento was awarded the Charter for the 2021-2027 based on the application no. 101014693 to participate in the current programme.
