The local section of AIESEC has its office at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento, but its members come from all the university departments.

Why we do what we do

AIESEC was founded in 1948, just after the Second World War. Its goals were peace and the development of human potential, to shape young people so that they would become responsible leaders guided by strong positive values, through practical experiences in dynamic settings.

With support from companies, schools and other organizations, AIESEC offers international mobility programmes through which students are given the opportunity meet people from other cultures and exchange views on global issues.

AIESEC has been working with the United Nations since September 2015 to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: the set of targets to be reached by 2030 on the most important issues at global level, like hunger, global warming, inequality, the lack of universal education.

Our mobility projects for outgoing students

Global Volunteer is an international mobility programme for students aged between 18 and 30 through which they can spend 6 to 8 weeks abroad working in volunteering projects that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Personal development occurs through practical learning. In this stimulating environment, volunteers develop their soft skills: self-awareness, proactive problem solving, communication skills, the ability to adopt a global view on things.

Global Talent is the international mobility programme that offers a 3 to 12-month internship experience to students and young graduates aged between 18 and 30 in an international work setting.
Volunteers are employed in different areas: human resources management, marketing, education, engineering, and many more. Expand your horizons through a work experience in a multicultural setting.

Global Entrepreneur is a 6 to 10-week internship experience within a startup for graduating Bachelor students and Master students.
Choose Global Entrepreneur if you want to test your aspirations, work in a startup, and take on the challenges that come with it. Learn the basics on how to manage a company through practical experience.
