Utfen - Finance and Entrepreneurship Network del Dipartimento, Department of Economics and Management is a student association founded in Trento in 2011.

The four pillars of UT-FEN are:

• NETWORKING: to create a network of students, alumni and professors of the University of Trento who are interested or work in the financial sector and the business world. This will help strengthen the brand of the University of Trento and facilitate collaboration among the participants;
• EDUCATION: to organize training seminars and conferences for students on finance and business topics (e.g. trading competitions, M&A seminars, Start-Up Weekends, etc.) in order to add job-oriented courses to those offered by the University;
• ENTREPRENEURSHIP: to serve as a liaison body for students with different academic backgrounds, for example in economics, engineering, information technologies, science and law. Our purpose is to encourage the development of business ideas to create new companies or facilitate technology transfer;
• CAREERS: to help students enter the workforce and create opportunities for alumni looking for new career directions (leveraging on the network). To achieve this goal the association will provide assistance to students with writing CVs and cover letters, advertising job offers and creating direct connections with HR offices.
