The University of Trento organizes training courses on specific aspects of the research work - in particular, to help the participants develop transferable skills and knowledge that will be useful to draw up and manage research projects - designed to support different target groups (PhD candidates, researchers, teaching staff and administrative-technical staff).

Crash Course on protection and valorisation of Intellectual Property
The course provides the main notions on the protection of research results and their valorisation.
Main topics:
- main instruments for the protection of Intellectual Property;
- analysis of the internal regulations of the University on Intellectual Property and Start-up;
- Intellectual Property valorisation.
Target group: research fellows, postdocs, researchers, teaching staff and private companies.

Project writing
This course, organized by Research Support and Valorisation Division, aims to provide information on national and European research funding schemes. It focuses, in particular, on programmes that may improve the career of researchers (MSCA, Caritro, ....), through the acquisitionof the required knowledge to write and submit a successful research proposal.

The University of Trento organizes specific training initiatives on how to write a research proposal for MSCA Postdoctoral fellowships call, favouring candidates who chose UniTrento as host-organisation (selected yearly through the relevant call for "expression of interest").

This talk will highlight the relevance of the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) principles for scientific data management and stewardship, their strategic role as guidelines for research data management as well as their link with Open Science. Additionally, it will also describe how research data management and data management plan are connected in the context of Horizon Europe projects for data and, more in general, research outputs.
