Which students cannot enrol online?
Particular student typologies are not yet managed by ESSE3 and so they cannot enrol in exams online:

  • students taking part in mobility projects (bilateral agreements);
  • students enrolled in single courses.

These students can sit exams but their results will be written on an anonymous verbal form.

How can I verbalise the exam of a student who didn’t enrol?
Use the anonymous verbal forms following the named ones given to you.

What can I do if on the day of the exam there are no verbalisation forms in the janitor’s office?
In these cases you can contact the Faculty’s didactic offices.
If verbalisation is on the same day as the exam, you can find some anonymous registers in the Dean’s secretary office and at the didactics office that you can fill in with the students data, the date, and the subject.
The lecturer can verbalise the exam by reporting the subject and student’s data on each coupon.
This type of verbalisation is only used in urgent cases, that is to say when pre-printed verbal forms are not available.

What do I have to do if the anonymous verbal forms finish?
It is possible to verbalise the result on the anonymous register that you can find in the Dean’s secretary office or at the didactics office, or you can write the result on the student’s mark book and tell him/her to come back on the following session to verbalise it.

What can I do if I make a mistake in filling in the form?
Point out the correction made in the nota section. In alternative you can pull a line across the form and fill in an anonymous one.

What do I have to do with the old registers?
Old registers must not be used again, but must be handed in to the Dean’s office or to the didactics office.
If the didactics office receives exam coupons from the old registers regarding an exam for which pre-printed forms have been made, the lecturer must repeat verbalisation using the pre-printed forms.

What does “online verbalization” imply?
For each exam defined through the “online verbalization” system, after the examination date, each lecturer autonomously organizes the examination verbal from his/her restricted area. The verbal will have to be printed and signed by the members of the examination commission. It will then have to be  handed in to the didactic offices of each Faculty so that marks can be registered on the students’ online mark books.

When can the examination verbal be done?
The system automatically blocks the possibility to create the verbal during the 15 days following the publication of examination results. This deadline can be postponed by the lecturer to a maximum of 60 days.

How can the verbal be created/reprinted?
Click on “print verbal” or “reprint verbal” in the page where the list of students enrolled in the examination is, so to create it; or if it has already been created, to print a copy.
The function is active only after marks have been
