The Student Ombudsperson at the University of Trento is Lucia Rodler, Associate Professor of Italian literature at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science.
The Student Ombudsperson provides advice to students in their relations with teaching and technical-administrative staff. In particular, the Student Ombudsperson:
- listens to students' concerns, which can be submitted in person or in writing, about behaviours, actions or omissions that are contrary to the students' Code of Honour;
- ensures that regulations on teaching and learning, the management of student careers, and student services, are complied with;
- ensures that student representatives are elected and actively participate in academic bodies.
The Student Ombudsperson holds the identity and all communications with those seeking assistance in strict confidence.
