The 1^st year exam consists of an interview with the board. The Phd students talk about what was done during the first year  All successful grades of every subjects attended and any attendance to seminars, conventions organized by the Course and the Department will be considered in the overall grade.

Admission to the 2^nd year therefore depends on participation to activities held by the Doctoral Course and successful results.

The Phd students is evaluated for their attendance to either internal or external educational the activities at the Course, for the tutor’s opinion on all the Phd student’s work and for the presentation of the thesis project to the Board which is appointed by the Doctoral Course Committee.

Getting through to the 3^rd year all depends on obtaining a positive result in all the exams.
