How to reach us

Getting to Trento

Trento is easy to reach thanks to its central position between the Southern Alps and the Po and Veneto plains in north Italy.

By train: Trento is reached by Italian and European long-distance trains and the station is close to the town centre. At the end of the page you can find a link to the Italian railways.

By car: for cars, the main road access to the region is the A22 Brennero - Modena motorway, which is part of the E45 European road that runs through Denmark, Germany, Austria and Italy. National roads branch off from the A22 leading to every valley.

By plane: you can land in Italy at Verona, Bergamo, Venice or Milan and reach Trento choosing either a car-rental service, shuttle busses or trains. Below is a list of airports and their distance from Trento:

  • Verona "Valerio Catullo" (90 Km). It is the closest large airport to Trentino.. It is serviced by major airlines such as Alitalia, Air Italy, Air France, British Airways and Meridiana Fly. An aerobus shuttle service to train station in Verona is available every day of the week leaving every twenty minutes from the airport. Several car-rental companies are also present in the airport.
  • Bolzano "Dolomiti" (57 Km).
  • Venice "Marco Polo" (163 Km). The airport offers over a thousand weekly flight connections to the main Italian and European cities. A city bus connects the airport to the train station in Mestre. Eight car rental companies are present within the airport.
