Maddalena VALACCHI

Maddalena VALACCHI is a PhD student in International Studies at the University of Trento. Her research interests are in the field of history of international relations. She mainly focuses on the topics of the human rights protection and European integration during the Cold War period.
She is an alumna of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and holds a BA and MA in International Relations and Diplomatic Sciences both from the University of Siena. During her Bachelor and Master degree she studied abroad respetively in Argentina and Poland. As an undergraduate, she conducted historical research at the Archivio Histórico de Cancillería (Buenos Aires), Center for Europe (Warsaw) and Historical Archive of the European Union (Florence).
