PhD Programme National Days

The National Days are organised on an annual rotating basis at the various partner Institutions of the Programme.

The events are attended by all enrolled PhD students, members of the PhD Board, Supervisors and co-Supervisors, and representatives of the partner institutions, and provide an important opportunity to meet and share their experience and to return the results of their research activities.

Besides speeches by institutional representatives of the PhD and invited guests, to address issues of specific interest to all those involved in the Programme, presentations by PhD students are also planned for each of the seven curricula, to give back and introduce their research activities.

For each year, the organisation of a dissemination event, open to the public, with the participation of a distinguished guest is also planned.

The first edition of the national days took place in Trento on 4 and 5 July 2023 and featured Paolo Nespoli, astronaut and aerospace engineer.
