Anna Scalfi Eghenter is a member of RUCOLA, Research Unit on Communication, Organizational Learning and Aesthetics based at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento.

She received a PhD in Management Studies from the Essex Business School, a MSc in Sociology from the University of Trento, a MFA from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts “Silvio D’Amico” and from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera.

She uses artistic practice as an instrument to intervene in the laboratory of reality. Her sociological education orients her research towards organizational experimentation that crosses the rules of the field with the boundaries of permitted action. An independent artist, she includes in her work the entire process of construction, taking into consideration the territory, the production and the institutions such as the constitutive elements of the project itself.

Her works have also been presented at the 16th Quadriennale d’Arte di Roma, MAXXI Roma, MAMBO Bologna, Democracy Biennial Torino, Kadist Art Fondation Paris, Royal Academy of Spain in Roma, Palais de la Bourse Bruxelles, Fondazione Galleria Civica di Trento, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Guarene, MART in Rovereto, and Manifesta7 parallel events.
