isc2-2016

Authors

In this section you will find useful information to prepare and to submit a paper, a tutorial or the workshop materials for ISC2 2016.

Papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality original full or short papers. Full papers should describe novel research contributions and results and are limited to six (6) pages (two additional pages are allowed with a per-page extra fee of 100 $). Short papers, limited in length to four (4) pages, should be more visionary in nature and are meant to discuss new challenges and visions, showcases, early research results, and explore novel research directions.

All submitted papers must not be already published or considered elsewhere for publication. Also they have to be written in English and formatted according to the IEEE double-column conference style. No other formats are accepted. Papers submitted in a different format will be rejected.

Each submitted paper will pass through the standard IEEE peer-review process. Authors of any accepted paper are required to submit the final version by the deadline reported in the conference website, register to the Conference, and present it during the Conference. Papers accepted and presented at the Conference will appear in the conference proceedings and will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library. Note that even if a paper is covered by a full registration, it will not be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library if it is not properly presented at the conference, in compliance with the IEEE “no-show” policy.

The steps for submitting a short or a full paper to the ISC2 2016 conference are described at the webpage Papers.

A Special Issue in IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems will promote the dissemination of the best results presented at the ISC2 2016 aiming at improving Transportation in Smart Cities.

In addition, authors of papers presented during the ISC2 2016 are allowed to submit suitably extended versions of their papers to one of the following journals, according to the respective scope:
