Federica Cittadino, Ph.D. in International Studies (2017, University of Trento - Italy), is Senior Researcher in Environmental Law at the Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism, EURAC, Bolzano/Bozen (Italy). She has published several contributions on the topic of her PhD, dealing with the interaction of indigenous rights and the protection of biodiversity in international law. She has also published a monograph (with Mariachiara Alberton) on the Italian constitutional reform and its effects for the protection of the environment, as well as some articles and book chapters on the multilevel governance of the environment in Italy and Europe. Federica has been a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg. She has previously worked as researcher, project assistant, and political advisor in Italy, Austria, and Belgium.
