Eugenio Dacrema

Eugenio Dacrema is a PhD student at the University of Trento. His research focuses on the history of economic relations between the European Union and North African countries, analyzing the socio-economic effects sparked by such relations in Egypt and Tunisia. He is also involved in research programs of various organizations analyzing the Islamic fundamentalism from a socio-economic prospective. In addition to his research activities he periodically writes for several Italian national newspapers such as Corriere della Sera, Il Foglio, Limes, Formiche and Linkiesta. Furthermore, he writes and edits the blog focused on the Mediterranean region of the Italian think tank ISPI.
