Milica Pejovic

Milica Pejovic was awarded a PhD degree from the School of International Studies (University of Trento) in May 2019. Her dissertation examined online EU contestation both from grassroots and elite perspective in the context of the Greek and refugee crises.  She holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in European studies from the Faculty of Political Science (University of Belgrade). She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and at Carleton University in Ottawa. Her research interests include Euroscepticism, populism, EU communication policies and new media. She has published in peer-reviewed academic journals and presented her work at international conferences.

Milica is currently working at the University of Trento as a manager of a project focused on innovation and as a research assistant on a project dealing with the influence of populism on EU institutions.
