Artificial intelligence and Health

The PhD research program will investigate Artificial Intelligence (AI)in health from a multidisciplinary and comparative perspective.

It will be focused on both legal and ethical sides.

The selected PhD student, in collaboration with teams of Fondazione Bruno Kessler and with the BioLaw project at the Law School (University of Trento), will have to set up an advanced analysis and feasible patterns of the legal, regulatory and ethical frameworks of Artificial Intelligence in health.

Skills (partially required and partially to be acquired during the research work period).

We look for a candidate strongly motivated in multidisciplinary and comparative research, with interest both in law and ethics. An excellent knowledge of English and Italian is required, as well as availability to travel and work in joint assignment at Fondazione Bruno Kessler and Biolaw project (Trento Law School).

Research Integrity: uno studio comparato dei modelli di regolamentazione e delle relative prospettive operative

The PhD research program will investigate the concept of research integrity from an interdisciplinary perspective.

After a state-of-the-art review, the PhD student will analyst how research integrity and research ethics are applied to biomedical research.

The PhD student will compare how Italian and/or foreign research center guarantee research integrity in the realm of biomedical research, also in collaboration with the Research and Technology transfer office.

Skills

We look for a candidate strongly motivated in multidisciplinary research, with interest both in law and ethics.

An excellent knowledge of English and Italian is required, as well team working skills and in multi-professional context. Documented international experience and a track record in law and life sciences, biolaw and ethics will be taken into consideration.
