STUDY AND RESEARCH PERIOD ABROAD

Doctoral Students must attend a study and research period at a foreign University or at a Research Institute. They are reminded that:

• periods of up to six months must be authorized by the Head of the Course;
• periods over six months must be authorized by the Doctoral Course Committee;
• it is provided an increase of the Scholarship of 50% for the study and research period abroad;
• the Doctoral Course provides contribution towards the travel expenses (box download contributo periodo all'estero).

PARTICIPATION TO METHODOLOGICAL SCHOOLS

Doctoral Students are encouraged to participate to methodological training Schools and it is provided a contribution for the registration fees and travel expenses (box download iscrizione scuole estive/invernali).

RULES OF SECONDMENT

Doctoral Students are to be previously authorized by the Head of the Course or, in substitution, by the Tutor/Advisor and by the Director of the Department.

After receiving the authorization by the Head of the Course or by the Tutor/Advisor Doctoral Students have to active the on-line procedure, available on page myUnitn (Section “Gestione Trasferte”).

It is always requested the certification of participation at the Methodological Schools, at Conferences or at Study and research period abroad.
