Publication Guidelines

IRIS

IRIS - Institutional Research Information System - is the Registry of Research and the institutional open-access archive that contains the scientific output published by authors affiliated with the University of Trento, adopted in April 2015.

To enable the University of Trentoauthors to fulfil the obligations arising from Law 112 (2013), the European Commission Recommendation (July 2012), the requirements of Horizon Europe, H2020, ERC calls, and the University Open Science Policy approved by the Academic Senate on December 7, 2022, IRIS collects full-text open-access publications of scientific production resulting from the research activities of professors and researchers at the University of Trento, both in the editorial version and pre-print or post-print – by the agreements or indications of the publisher.

The following are the standard wordings according to the Italian government guidelines.

PhD students receiving NRRP scholarships are required to include an explicit reference to the funding source of their scholarship in all documents - research projects/papers, publications, etc. - including the final thesis, developed in the context of the doctorate, reporting one of the following wordings:
