SOS-Digital

An increasing number of students are experiencing psychological distress, and SOS Digital was established to respond to their needs. The student community needs to be supported to face these difficulties, and teaching and technical-administrative staff must be trained to deal with mental health issues in the most appropriate and effective way possible.

The Student Counselling Service of the University of Trento, in collaboration with the Observation, Diagnosis and Training Lab of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, within the "SOS-Digital, Providing Support for Student in Distress" project, has developed an online protocol to help students experiencing psychological distress. The project includes videos and an online guide, to inform the university community about psychological issues and show ways to respond and solutions that can be implemented in a number of situations.
