Libera Circolazione by Trentino Trasporti

"Libera circolazione - Free circulation" is the discounted annual season pass for the students of the University of Trento to use public transport in the Province of Trento.

The "Libera circolazione" pass is also available to UniTrento doctoral students: students regularly enrolled in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year (and 4th year in case of 4-years programmes) of a PhD programme of the University of Trento, may buy the “Free circulation” annual bus pass (public transport within Trento province) at the reduced cost of € 70.

The yearly pass for the a.y. 2024-25 will be valid starting from 1st September 2024 until 31st August 2025, regardless of the date of purchase.

The PhD candidates who have completed their studies (in the 3rd or 4th year of a doctoral course), or are about to defend their thesis, or have extended their programme, can purchase a season pass valid in the City of Trento or in the City of Rovereto (bus and trains pass within the town limits) with a 30% discount (the same opportunity offered to UniTrento staff).

To take advantage of this discount, visit intranet.unitn.it/infoservizi (you must be logged in: Fringe benefit, assegni, sussidi e convenzioni > Convenzioni > Convenzioni per il trasporto), and download the "Autocertificazione per abbonamento urbano", fill it out and submit it at one of the ticket offices of Trentino Trasporti.

Flixbus

To facilitate students to access education and training, UniTrento has signed an agreement with Flixbus Italia based on which the whole University community of students, including PhD candidates, will have the opportunity to purchase the company’s bus tickets for a discounted fee.

Thanks to the agreement between FlixBus and UniTrento, you can request a 10% discount code per month to travel on the national and international FlixBus network.

How to get your discount:

• visit the Convenzione FlixBus page, type in your University email address and and submit your request;
• you will receive an email with your discounted FlixBus within 72 hours;
• book your ride using the app;
• enjoy your ride!
