Who can apply?

Applications are welcome from ENPC students who:

  • have completed two years of study (Common Core) at ENPC;
  • have submitted a motivation letter;
  • have an A2 level of Italian for the course in Civil Engineering, or a B2 level for the course in Environmental Engineering.
    Students can also take an Italian language test before graduating and take Italian classes at the Language Centre (CLA);
  • have a B2 level of English (with certificates).

Candidates can apply for one of the following Master’s degrees at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering:

  • Civil Engineering;
  • Environmental Engineering.

Duration, organisation and tuition fees

The programme runs for 4 semesters, including thesis work and discussion.

Courses in Civil Engineering are taught in Italian.

Courses in Environmental Engineering are taught in English and Italian.

Students participating in the double degree programme pay their tuition fees to ENPC. Students must also purchase 3 tax stamps of 16 euro each for administrative procedures (available from post offices, banks and tobacconists).

Thesis and qualifications

The thesis shall be co-supervised by professors of both institutions and discussed at UniTrento.

At the end of the programmes, students obtain:

  • a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from ENPC; and
  • a Laurea magistrale (Master's Degree) Ingegneria Civile or in Ingegneria per l'Ambiente e il Territorio from UniTrento.
