The mobility lasts 2 semesters (60 credits).
Students will have to agree the study plan with their supervisor.
All classes are taught in English.
In the mobility year, students selected by UniTrento for the double degree programme are required to pay tuition fees both at both institutions. The fee to be paid to MUNI is 1,500 euros (instead of the full fee of 3,000 euros).
All students submit application and thesis topic at the beginning of the third semester at MUNI.
Depending on the topic, they can choose a thesis supervisor from among the available lecturers of the two institutions.
The thesis must be discussed at MUNI, and will be evaluated according to the regulations in force by a thesis committee composed of professors from within the university, with the participation of a representative of UniTrento.
The thesis supervisor and co-supervisor will be present at the discussion, in person or virtually.
The final oral examination takes place immediately after the thesis defense and is evaluated by the same committee.
The content of the exam also covers the selected compulsory courses of the programme, in two thematic areas:
Political Science and International Relations Theory and
Energy and society.
At the end of the programme, the students obtain:
a Magistr/Magistra (Mgr.) in Energy Policy Studies from MUNI;
a Laurea magistrale in European and International Studies from UniTrento.
