For the bodies of academic departments/centers, only students enrolled in study programs affiliated with that administrative unit may vote.
Right to stand for election (passive electorate): all students (including those awaiting Bachelor’s graduation) who, in the 2026-2027 academic year, have been enrolled in their study program for a number of years not exceeding the standard duration of the program plus one year. Specifically:
- Bachelor’s degree programs (laurea triennale): enrolled for no more than 4 years;
- Master’s degree programs (laurea magistrale): enrolled for no more than 3 years;
- 5-year Single-cycle Master’s degree programs (laurea a ciclo unico): enrolled for no more than 6 years.
The elections will take place online through competing lists using the d'Hondt proportional system. Submission of candidacies and voting will be conducted online via an electronic system.
The submission of candidate lists and the collection of supporting signatures will take place online, through the dedicated system, starting from 12:00 PM on Thursday, 15 October 2026 until 12:00 PM on Friday, 23 October 2026.
To initiate the submission of a list, each list submitter (presentatore/presentatrice), if in possession of the active electorate requirements, logs into the system, selects the body for which the list is running, and enters the following details:
- Name of the list;
- Image of the list symbol/logo;
- Names of the candidates.
The list submitter is considered the official representative of that list and carries out and receives all communications and official acts provided for by the Regulations on behalf of the list.
Each candidate entered into the system must meet the passive electorate requirements. No candidate may be included in more than one list for the same type of election.
Candidates must accept their nomination through the system. Only after receiving confirmation of acceptance from all candidates can the list submitter officially submit the list to launch the endorsement/signature process.
Endorsers (sottoscrittori/sottoscrittrici) submit their support via the online platform. Only students meeting the active electorate requirements may access the system to endorse a list. Each student may sign the presentation declaration of only one list for the same type of election. List submitters and candidates cannot sign as list endorsers.
Lists must be accompanied by the required minimum number of supporting signatures:
- At least 40 signatures for candidacies related to the Academic Senate, the Joint Committee for the Right to Education and Merit Enhancement, the Sports Committee, and the Board of Directors of Opera Universitaria;
- At least 15 signatures for candidacies related to academic department and teaching bodies.
For further details, please refer to the attached manuals.
By 28 October 2026, the Electoral Committee will verify the compliance of the submitted lists with the Regulations, declaring their inadmissibility in case of non-compliance. Any invalidity of individual candidacies due to lack of the required qualifications does not invalidate the entire list, but solely results in the exclusion of the non-eligible candidate(s).
Personal data are processed exclusively for institutional purposes pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 as amended, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation). Candidates are required to read the Information Notice.
