How to Enroll | Detailed Information

Choose the UniTrento degree course you want to enroll in and carefully read the admission call.
Each degree course’s admission call specifies the eligibility criteria, the minimum score required for rankings and the type of TOLC required (i.e. English TOLC_I, TOLC_E, etc.).

To be eligible for the selection process of your chosen degree course, you must complete the TOLC test by March 12, 2025 (first session) or by May 9, 2025 (second session), either in-person at a test center or through an online session ("TOLC @casa").

  1. Carefully read the admission call.  This summary of the procedure does not replace the official admission call, which must be fully understood and accepted by candidates at the time of registration for the admission process.
  2. Register on the CISIA website.
  3. Access the CISIA TEST reserved area and follow the instructions to complete the test registration.
  4. Take the TOLC test.

Important: Each participant can take each type of TOLC only once per calendar month, regardless of the delivery method or the selected university test center.

The test schedule, procedures, and deadlines for registering for the TOLC are published on the CISIA website. Registrations for the 2025 TOLC tests will open in January.

UniTrento will consider only the highest score you achieved by the deadline of the admission process, starting from January 2024.

Starting from January 1st, 2025, the payment required by CISIA to take the TOLC will be €35, instead of €30 as indicated in the admission call.

The admission process requires two steps:

  1. Create your UniTrento account: if this is your first time accessing the UniTrento website, you must log in using your digital identity (Italian SPID- that is Public Digital Identity System, Italian CIE - that is Electronic Identity Card, or another method specified on the login page and in the admission call) on the UniTrento Registration for Admission page.
  2. Apply for admission to your chosen degree course by March 12, 2025 (first session) or between April 7 and May 9, 2025 (second session):
    • Log in again to the UniTrento Registration for Admission page.
    • Complete your personal information if necessary.
    • Select "Admission Application" and, on the "Degree course" page, choose the degree course you want to apply for.

You can apply even before taking the TOLC test, as long as the test is completed within the validity period specified in the admission call. You do not need to enter your TOLC score manually, as it will be automatically retrieved by the University of Trento from CISIA.

To apply for multiple degree courses, return to the "Admission Application" section and select a new degree course. Repeat this step for each degree course you wish to apply for.

Once your application is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

Both steps (Step 2: Passing the TOLC test and Step 3: Applying for admission) are mandatory to be included in the ranking and to subsequently enroll at the university.

Check the ranking for your program. Rankings will be published on the admission call pages on March 24, 2025 (first session) and May 20, 2025 (second session).

If there are available places after the closure of the pre-enrollment phase, additional ranking updates will be published. If spots remain available after the confirmation phase, another ranking update will be issued.

If you are marked as "eligible and admitted" in a ranking or an update, you must complete the pre-enrollment process according to the procedures and deadlines specified when the ranking is published. Failure to pre-enroll or meet the deadline will result in losing your spot.

If you are admitted in the 1st or 2nd session, you must confirm your high school diploma to complete your enrollment in the UniTrento program between July 7 and July 18, 2025.

The procedures for confirming the diploma will be updated by July 7, 2025.

Failure to confirm your diploma by the deadline will result in losing your spot
