
Trento - Hundreds of people gather here. There are students, tables of friends and groups who arrive together. Yet silence reigns, because the words used are those which must be read, printed in millions of pages and thousands of volumes, almost all freely available for consultation. This is BUC - the University Central Library, designed by Renzo Piano.

Trento - In 1912, when it was constructed, the Molino (the Mill) was one of the westernmost buildings of the main city of Trento. Beyond that, there were only fields, railway tracks and the river. The building was acquired by the University of Trento in 1989 and underwent considerable restoration work which was completed in 2002. It houses the offices of the administrative personnel, Student Services and Human Resources.

Trento - Initially part of a redevelopment of previous units, with its austere, neo-renaissance style, Palazzo Consolati can be found in the heart of the historic centre of Trento. It hosts the Medicine and Surgery degree course offered by the University of Trento in partnership with the University of Verona.

Trento - A modern, luminous building named after the first rector of the University of Trento. A place where the warmth of the wood becomes a functional architectural feature. Inaugurated in 2012, it hosts the Humanities Department and the School of International Studies.

Trento - This building recounts the history of the Trentino economy, its crises and rebirth. Over the course of one century it has gone from being a centre for the promotion of agricultural development in Trentino to being a centre of economic culture of national importance. In 1985 it was acquired by the University of Trento and became the Department of Economics and Management.

Trento - This building is like a book containing many stories: initially it was a carpentry workshop, then the headquarters of various newspapers, and finally the place where future jurists are trained. The history of the Law Department of the University of Trento recounts the traditions of the territory of Trentino but also invites an opening to the international dimension.

Trento - A masterpiece of mannerism and the early Trentino baroque style, Palazzo Sardagna is the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Trento. It houses the rectorate, the President's office, the Director General’s office and several central offices. The University’s governing bodies gather here for meetings, institutional events and press conferences.

Trento - Designed in 1888 and built in just three years to house an elementary school, this building tells the story of many young people, of ideas and protests. Having become the seat of the Tridentine Museum of Natural Science, in 1962 it was chosen to host the new Higher Institute of Social Sciences, the first step towards the founding of the University of Trento.

Povo (Trento) - With a surface area that exceeds 20 thousand square meters, and so many kilometers of cables that if they were stretched out they would be enough to reach another region, the Fabio Ferrari Science and Technology Campus is home to the scientific and technological departments of the University of Trento.

Mesiano (Trento) - Built by INPS in the 1930s using the structure of an Austro-Hungarian army officers’ club, the building was subsequently used as a sanatorium for infectious diseases. In 1984, after a long debate about its restoration and use, it was sold to the University of Trento which repurposed it to house the Department of Engineering.

Rovereto - Built at the end of the 1700s, the building was one of the most famous residences of the city and the focus of an intense aristocratic and social life. Today it hosts the Secretariat and several research facilities of the Psychology and Cognitive Sciences Department, as well as part of the Interdepartmental Mind-Brain Centre and the Doctoral School for Cognitive and Brain Sciences of the University of Trento.

Rovereto - Art, culture, theatre and history meet in one of the most beautiful and atmospheric streets of the historic centre of the city of Rovereto: this is the location of Palazzo Piomarta, known also as Palazzo dell’Istruzione, seat of the Psychology and Cognitive Sciences Department of the University of Trento.
