The University of Trento has always pursued a policy of international openness focusing attention on the quality of its teaching and research. Internationalisation is an intrinsic characteristic of the university which has allowed it to develop over the years thanks to a precise and coherent strategy aimed at enhancing the various scientific disciplines by constructing numerous strong international relationships in order to enrich its academic offer, to increase opportunities for mobility abroad for teaching staff, researchers, students, doctoral students and administrative staff, and at the same time create a vibrant international environment within the university itself.
The University of Trento has signed partnership agreements with over 450 universities worldwide:
- 330 Erasmus+ Programme countries and other partner countries.
- More than 100 bilateral agreements above all with universities outside Europe.
- 41 double degree agreements in 14 different countries.
