In order to strengthen ongoing partnerships, the teaching staff and research fellows at UniTrento have the opportunity to undertake an exchange at a university outside Europe with which UniTrento has a Bilateral Agreement.
Applications are welcome from UniTrento teaching staff and research fellows. Destinations are Universities outside Europe with which there is an active Bilateral Agreement (see list below).
Variable, depending on the exchange project.
For exchanges of longer than 30 days you must obtain the approval of your department council.
Funding is available to cover basic expenses according to mission rules up to a maximum of 2,500 euro per person/exchange, independently of the destination and of the length of the stay, up to a maximum of 20 exchanges a year.
Manifestations of interest in undertaking an exchange at a partner university with which a Bilateral Agreement has been signed should be sent by email to the International Relations Division ([email protected]) indicating the destination, the period and the motivation for the exchange, and should include the authorisation of the director of your department or centre.
Each year, exchange requests supported by a detailed project and previously authorised by the department or centre director will be accepted up to a maximum of 20 exchanges.
Priority will be given to exchanges which:
- are aimed at promoting the activation of student and doctoral exchanges, if they have not already been activated;
- present teaching and research projects focused on enriching and broadening existing partnerships (e.g. proposals to evaluate possible double degree or co-supervision of doctoral theses);
- are suitably balanced with regard to the destinations proposed and the department or centre of the student;
- are proposals from teaching staff and researchers presenting a project for the first time.
It is possible to request an exchange also for destinations that do not require the specific approval of your department or centre.
This initiative is not compatible with other periods of leave for study or research authorised by your department or centre.
